The Bernette B05 Crafter is a heavy duty model ready to sew all crafting projects as well as repairs. With a stainless steel sewing bed and strong motor plus 30 stitch selections.

This is the first model of the new Swiss design Bernina Bernette B05 series. The Crafter sewing machine has electronic speed control with a full selection of accessories and stitches for most users.

Modern, colourful and ready to tackle your next stitching task, this Bernette B05 Crafter sewing machine is super easy to use. It offers built-in needle threader, one step buttonholes and LED lights.

We like the pull off arm which houses a flip down lid accessory storage area. Once removed the B05 Crafter is in sleeve arm mode for stitching tubular items like cuffs and neck collars. It has a top loading bobbin with full rotary hooks system for whisper quite stitching. The view through bobbin cover lets you see when the bobbin thread is about to run low.

It sews fast too, at 1100 spm it is one of the speediest domestic sewing machines around, helped by the powerful heavy duty motor unit.

The 2-step presser foot lift is handy when needing to sew heavier or thicker type materials, this 2-step lifter is perfect for stitching through multiply layers like when sewing quilts.

The Bernette Crafter can sew multi layers of denim with easy, yet can also sew stretch fabrics and fine organsa type materials. The Crafter also offers a special Lycra stitch to use on super stretchy fabrics.

With 30 essential stitches and 6 presser feet included there is no stopping the Bernette Crafter for creative sewers.
